Thinking about Istanbul’s urban design…

When I had come across two articles, ‘Urban Design and the Political Realm’ by Allan B. Jacobs and ‘The Design of Cities’ by
Spiro Kostof, I remembered what Prof. Galip Isen thinks about Istanbul’s urban design if there is any. No grids, no circles. It is the shape of phlegm spit on ground:) While googling on Istanbul’s urban design I have found this page entitled as ‘Projects planning Istanbul’s future by Zaha Hadid and Ken Yeang’.
